Glowing Green Smooothie

Poor wee Hannah has been sick with a week off the gym but she is back at it now. We continue our programme and our early mornings.
The wrinkles from the early mornings that we have previously been complaining about have been diminishing because of our daily GGS - Glowing Green Smoothie. Each morning we have a dose and the fibre keeps us full for along time. Our GGS is created by Kimberly Synder our current alternative health expert. Her aim is to get us looking beautiful from the inside out through enzymes and all sorts of goodness.

Alarms, wines and chips

Wow!
We have successfully managed to get to the gym at 5:30am for four mornings this week. We have also been diligently alternating our resistance training with cardio. The early mornings are really taking a toll on us and we are looking tired and aged. We are also wondering whether our programme is working as well as it should. Recently we have developed a lot of face fat too (This was something that was not part of Team Hadabbeys contract).

Unfortunately on Friday morning  when we were showering to go to work (AKA Naked Time) the alarms went off and we had to evacuate the building. That was an exciting way to start the day. Thankful we were the modest type who keep our clothes in the individual shower cubicles we were using so we could make a speedy exit. Unfortunately the same could not be said for Cycling Sophie who prefers communal changing spaces.

We have managed to detour off the healthy food choices due to wine and chips at the pub too many times this week. The staff at the local pub must also be concerned for our health and fitness goals as on Friday management had decided to make the bowels of chips smaller.  We were going to attribute little mumma as a major influencing factor to chips and wine but the more we think about it, we could be the ones influencing her. However Hannah's developing bulging biceps were drawing some attention at the pub. Not only were her biceps drawing attention,but men were too imtimated by her developing biceps and refused to arm wrestle. Next goal is to work out how to get the same muscle tone on our face.
Any tips of advice on this one?

Journey to healthy eating!

Wow! Next week (2 days away) Hannah and Abbey will become health experts as they begin a diet that rivals Dr OZ of former Oprah fame. Our new names will be Doctor Abbey and Doctor Hannah with PHD's from the University of Team Hadabby. So far our food education consists of web advice and advice from health and fitness magazines like Zest and Good Heath.


Hannah will be eating a diet consisting of lean animal proteins, vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, seeds and other good things. Hannah's treat is that she can consume two pieces of toast a day or alternatively a bowel of cereal. Some people complain about 6 pieces of toast being too much to eat. WTF! However she will endeavor to stay true to advice given by Team Hadabby.

Abbey will be eating a diet consisting of non-animal protein, vegetable, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes and grains. Abbey's diet is extra special needs as she suffers from animal eating guilt and egg and dairy allergies. Abbey has a deep, emotional and delicious love affair with the potato chip. She will try to curb this affair for the week. However she is worried about the broken heart that may result from the love affair ending.

Hannah and Abbey look forward to reporting back when we are diet experts (14 days time). We will most likely be hosting our own talk show soon.

Olympics 2016

As budding slightly older athletes it is time for Hannah and Abbey to begin narrowing down their options for Rio 2016 Olympic games.

We strongly believe that 4 years is plenty of time for us to develop into strong dashing athletes ready to secure gold for our country.

Some may say as slightly older budding athletes we are suited to more mental athletic pursuits such as shooting, fencing and archery. However we believe in pushing the bar and been an inspiration for all.

Our initial thought was joining the beach volley ball team. However we are concerned that our brown hair may limit our chances of success in this endeavor . As demonstrated by the GB team.

So now we have narrowed it down to marathon running because of our superior ability to last 10 minutes on the treadmill and we believe this is a great stepping stone in our training to last hours on the road. Track cycling because we believe all our training could make us look great in lyrca and be a distraction from our ability or lack of ability on the track. We could successfully be the next Sarah Ulmer for New Zealand. Weight lifting or wrestling is also an option, especially if Hannah gets the body she desires.

Ultimately we believe we are capable of joint gold in the shot put. We know we do not have the skills to beat Valerie Adams naturally. However maybe we can go down the avenue of one of our other olympic hereos and find some really good illegal enhancers and model success on Nadzeya Ostapchuk.

New friends through fitness


The best thing about having our own personal programme designed by our own P.T is the new friends that come with it. We are now lifting heavy weights and our new variety of best friend is the ‘muscle man’. We love to watch our form with them and grunt as we challenge ourselves to new heights.

Our other good friend Sophie keeps us accountable and loves to SPIN. She’s our cardio queen and is inspiring us to try out for RIO 2012 to represent New Zealand on the track cycling team. We think we would look amazing in black lycra.
